This gorgeous, Seattle-made 5.5x4.5" letter-pressed greeting card features an illustration of a Viking Age Swedish archaeological find (a representation of Thor's hammer worn as an amulet) combined with a friendly greeting followed by an invocation of the deities Thor and Odin found on a runic inscription from 13th century Bryggen in what is today Bergen, Norway.
All historic items on the card are carefully explained on the back of the card by Joseph S. Hopkins and Mathias Nordvig (University of Colorado, Boulder).
This card contains North American wildflower seeds and may be planted to grow in soil and with water. Comes with a hand-embossed envelope.
